Quality prenatal care is important to make sure mother and baby are growing and changing appropriately during pregnancy—and to ensure a healthy delivery. Our OB physicians continue to check in with patients after the birth as well, monitoring postpartum recovery (the six weeks after childbirth) and ensuring the mother’s physical and mental health are on target.
