FHS History

In 2004, a group of community leaders established Pierson Medical Center to meet the needs of the underserved in Volusia County. This was the first federally funded community health center in the area, and it has evolved into a network of clinics operating under the Family Health Source (FHS) name.

Today FHS has medical centers in Pierson, Deltona, DeLand, and Daytona. We care for families and individuals of all ages from diverse communities in Volusia County, and we are honored to serve as the region's trusted community healthcare partner.

Our Mission

We are proud to provide quality care for our patients regardless of age, race, nationality, income, employment, or health insurance status. Healthcare services are never denied based upon inability to pay.
